what a mess, the weird thing is she can actually sing but she kept hitting the same note again and again, not to mention she shouted the lyrics for a lot of the song. Perhaps unfair to sing a song performed by the incredible George Michael, but it did her no favors. She can be better than this, I'm sure she regrets agreeing to do it, the first half of the song is nothing short of terrible, she did regain some footing towards the end thank goodness

I think this version is a nice attempt. But the emotion of George Michael's voice, the message of this song that HE wrote, just doesn't come out in Carry's version. And if you don't know who George Micheal is... Listen to his unplugged version before you judge. Don't say Carry's version is better just because you're a fan. Without the wonderful original, Carry would never been able to sing this song. Respect and open your mind!

Nobody stole anything. I think everybody knows by now that Chris Cornell sung a cover of this song and then Cook sang that cover instead of the original. MsGucciSu, Cooks performance doesn't lack any thing but more time to sing it. Cornell has done a lot of great things in music, but it is my opinion that his voice is just not so hot these days. They both sang this song with passion, but I much prefer listening to Cooks voice. To me Cooks voice is much more "smoldering" than Cornells.

The guy has a good voice but this was a totally lackluster performance. His voice lacks the shear force and soul that allowed Cornell to put his stamp on it and make Jackson's song his own. Cornell made "Billie Jean" into a smoldering, blues ballad about sin and consequence. Cook made that into a barroom cover.
