Of all the sharks out there you can't tell me that you know it was the same shark the next day. As for anyones earings, they are put in their ears not down my throat with someone yanking on it with fishing line for 9 plus hours. you may think she was fine when you released her but you could care less what happens to her after that only if it makes for good ratings for your show. How ridiculous!! Now they are just going to cut the line and what happens to the shark! They get a thrill what does the shark get a very large hook left in its mouth/throat. How fair is that! He could have brought up to 4 people total but he said he wanted to be the Guinea Pig and see first hand what the giant Goliaths are like. There is also a $700 half day Goliath Trip as well. u cant pull a jewfish out of the water and into the boat unless the hook wont come out. the consider that it could be endangering with it left in so u should try to get it out as fast as u can. if it cant the cut the line ac close to the hook as you can. forgot to say some whales are legall to kill and eat. but there are some that are not.

I dont know where u live or fish but i live in florida and they wont let us pull the grouper out of the water and into the boat un less the hook wont come out. you can get arrested for pulling a whale out of the water and killing it. but in japan the still kill whales even though it is illegal.

Ft. Myers is west coast... out in the Gulf. Yeah we don't go out for goliaths... American reds, Red Grouper, Gags, and in June/July trolling for dolphin. It's a good time but maybe next time we can make a stop at a wreck. =)

G'day mate, you should make your way over here ASAP the impoundment fishing for Barra in central and northern Queensland is going nuts. Pretty soon I expect to see fish over 125cm being a pretty regular catch for the folks that know what they're doing. I do know of a 137cm fish being caunght in Monduran Dam. Sort makes those little tackers look like bait (which they would be as Barra are quiet happy cannibals) Cheers Chris

thats awesome....although that is tame compaired to Australian Barra...i live north Queensland, Australia and those fish that you guys were catching wouldnt even be legal size..i went barra fishing 2days ago and caught a 97lb Barra on 10lb fireline. it took a prawnstar... if you want to catch a real barramudi come to Aust. and see what real fishing is like. altho for yanks i guess that segment was alright..haha
