OK, Ive had a lot a lot of issues and have tried a huge range of healing aids, drugs, therapy, sedona method, hypnosis, exercise, reframing, NLP, etc. etc. EFT is the answer, it works! Using the blood tests, you should be able to create a demonstration capable of winning the Randi million dollar challenge. You could take blood samples from a number of ill people, give EFT treatment to half of the people, then take blood samples again. If you could now determine which blood samples came from the treated people, this would be solid evidence of an effect unknown to medical science.

Awesome! I totally believe in EFT although I'm finding it hard to come up with a good setup phrase for the issue at hand. Also unable to get a number on any particular feeling, unless I'm in a group session. Then my feelings on a subject are very emotional.Would like to learn more about the proper wording for setup phrase. Seems everyone , except Gary, is using different wording. guys thats awsome I had this very sharp stomach ach even when I whent to the doctor I had the medicen It it didnt work that well and I had to use it every time the pain grt back put I thougt t try EFT and in that moment I was with about 8.5 pain was very sharp and kicking and I did about 6 rounds and the pain gone WoW...... and in will I to my self lets try in other things and worked.(memory loss, social anxitey this was my big fear, head ach, sleep proplems)

Yes, live and let live is fine, except when it comes to snake oil. Especially in the case of chronic pain, you're treating the symptoms and not the actual problem. Cartilage degeneration is a pretty serious thing, and "treating the pain" associated with it doesn't fix things. It's like saying it's okay to walk a day on a broken leg because you're on morphine and can't feel it. Doesn't make sense, does it? I don't see calling a spade what it is to be a waste of time.

Actually, it does. If you are tapping where the "meridians" should be, but on a doll, it's pretty obvious you're experiencing placebo effect/autosuggestion. As for repetition, there's a lot more explanation to it (maybe I'll record a video), but there is sufficient research out there into like fields (such as Ericksonian hypnosis, and binaural & paraliminal psychoacoustics) to suggest that flat, repetitive white noise can assist in boosting suggestibility. It's a form of regression therapy.

Uh, actually, there's nothing scientific about it. Of the three peer-reviewed studies on it, one lacked a placebo group and one used tapping against a doll (while the subjects who tapped the doll claimed the same amount of "relief" as those who tapped themselves). Same benefits from tapping a doll = no meridians. The third study used EFT, a modeling treatment, and a placebo, all with similar results. Works the same way as the droning of a hypnotherapist does: repetition leads to spacing out.

This is not rocket science...nor New Age creations...it is about "going into" the emotions or pain and not denying it. It works, because the tapping is a dstraction your mind uses to allow yourself to experience things that may be painful...it takes the edge off. Anyone can do this and heal themselves without the tapping...all it takes is being willing to fully accept and receive the painful emotions and let them go. This is what therapy tries to do, but it takes much longer.

Your comments are clearly without merit. EFT instructions are available online completely FREE with no strings attached. There's no need to attend seminars, classes, or pay a single penny to learn the technique or share it with others. That gives you unlimited opportunity to research EFT for yourself through direct experience, without any outside influences. I was skeptical about it too. to claim that you can clear the memory completely implies you have absolutely no idea how the memory function of the brain works. Its not like a computer where you can just drag a file to the recycle bin. Rather there are neurons that are specific to a memory. There are prob a couple of hundred HRS of videos filmed over the past 20 yrs as Gary traveled around the world at diff medical conferences and other events. On his site there is a Prof series for those who want 2 become practitioners. My own experience in march (Week long) was filmed as well and is being made into a Documentary. Hundreds? Last week there where over 200k people in a survey of Altern Meds. who said they had exposure to EFT. As far as knowing your stuff. U seem to think that 160 y/o AMA,American Medical Association,who push pills as the answer to everything. Numb the symptoms forget the problem. SoSad284, I never claimed I know more than you. But I know my friends and I feel nothing tapping ourselves. If you believe in it and feel better, I'm happy to hear that. But you tapping freaks must also try to be tolerant to critical responses and other opinions. As usual, the sceptic gets attacked and offended personnally. I guess it's just a mindset: either you are emotional and believe everything (you know there are convinced Scientologists out there, and hundreds of Gods), or you only believe in your senses, rationality, science, reason and logic. What I wonder about is just that popular phenomenon that things are believed without any proven fact. Hard facts, western or not, are needed. Or do you really want to believe in ghosts ? It's a very dangerous mindframe. You surely know that people have killed in the name of their imaginary authority (God). Just out of emotions. Dont TRY. DO! After I begun using EFT, I was no longer lactose-intolerant! I was allergic to milk and cholocalte and tons of stuff for almost 16 years, then I start EFT one day and later that month I notice I no longer get sick from milk! IT WORKS!!! PLEASE DONT GIVE UP!!!
