I say hold on to all formats, as the same with audio formats. From tag sales,thrift shops,flea markets you can spend years picking up titles for rock bottom prices. people dumped their whole vinyl collection for cds, only to build a new one 20 years later, as many are doing today. I dont own any HD-DVD's or HD player..i will when i pick up a player for $20 bucks, and HD titles for $3

I feel the same way. Why is it so bad that HD DVD lost? Just because SACD (for example) isn't doing so well, doesn't mean people can't enjoy what's available. Same thing with vynil, DVD-A, etc, etc, and CD (think about MP3s and their impact). To each his own!
