People in the 30's and 40's watched this stuff as kids. Hell, even in the 90's I seen this stuff as a kid on Pre-suckage Cartoon Network. I didn't even notice the racy stuff, and when I did, I didn't care. This is intelligent, funny stuff with witty writing. Society is so effed up and scared of everything that animation quality like this is gone. I'm sure many aspiring animators have great ideas like this, but thanks to PC, their ideas will never come to light thanks to these anal networks.

I disagree. Right now we have politicains that are running how mature content is viewed. And what is sad is that the real people suffering is the new generation & the actual companies that broadcast them. That's why CN died in 2003 & Toonami died in 2007. new directors made changes that were disappointing. Sad but true.

Basically the writers messed up and forgot what they decided the relationship was. The cage trapping Joker was flown off of the explosion of a device BatmanAndRobin sabotaged and it landed on Joker; very comic book. Because the sequels are rarely as good as the originals. The ideas are usually less creative. I think part of it is that for the originals people get an good idea for a movie or base it on a book or already existing story. But for the sequel they make a movie just to make a movie.

Both Jim Henson (Muppet king and maker of Labryinth and Dark Crystal) & Walt Disney (maker of this and many other classics) used stuff like this sort of symbolism in the spirit of the time periods (ex: it still was okay to say jackass in the context of being a term for donkey [as well as an idiotically immoral person]), not to mention to teach children a lesson (ex: doing immoral things makes you look like a jackass & if you continue to do as such, you become a jackass).

I love this cartoon. The reason why it shows the same Red from "Swing Shift Cinderella" is because there were budget cutbacks when this cartoon was being made. Pinto Colvig, who played Goofy is voicing the Country Wolf.
