It's actually the Dig Dug dude.... unless Mr. Driller (which I'm not knowingly familiar with) is just a series continuation of Dig Dug, in which case you're right. I was actually asking "when the heck did his gun improve that much?" myself. On another topic, is it just me or did the girl in the blue robe (at 4:42) turn into Makoto (from Street Fighter 3) at 4:47 (well, okay, I admit the hair is wrong)? And what other characters she turns into are also cameos?

I'm sure there are some alternatives in like Jump (Ultimate) Superstars or maybe (the here probably hated) Super Smash Brothers Brawl. It may happen one day and it may not. It may be a japanese thing to keep stuff exclusive or it may be just a financial risk to bring the game to the US and elsewhere. Could be any reasonm, as stated before.

Flashy Combos but the fact of the matter is... Unless your fighting Gief, you wont pull off half of these combos - hence why Gief is he Dummy in 90% of these combos. You wouldn't be able to do half this shit on megaman or wolverinw and almost everyone uses wolverine cause of his easy macro inf. Nice combos tho.

Awesome but I have one question since I never got into this game at this depth. How come It takes 99 hit combos to knock someone out instead of lets say street fighter which is a lot less? The damage gauge goes by so slowing. Is it because they are using the same move and it gets weaker?

I have Fedora Core 8, Linux alternate OS on my PS3. I also have a Super Nintendo Emulator and ROMS, as well as a NES Emulator and ROMS on Fedora. The only thing I cant seem to find and install, is MAME for PS3. I know it's possible, cuz theres several videos on YouTube showing people running MAME on PS3. I can't find a PPC version to install. That is the point for a combo exhibition....it's just a video combo. Now if they made a video of real life combo's it wouldn't be this lengthly OR interesting. And yes...because it's a combo video, his steel rain attack is the best thing to reset and to have better combo's....I highly implore you NOT to do most of these combo's in tournaments or regular play, you will fail about 80 percent of the time.

Actually, there's another reason why Rolento is the target of most of these combos: the Steel Rain, the super that throws the knives in the air which come down on your opponent's location. I would really like to see a video without this setup, because it's EXTREMELY impractical. Also impractical are the combos where the target is dizzied and you meter-build (they can escape dizzy), and combos ending in hold grabs mashed for full hits and damage (they can escape the hold long before that point).

I can answer that question vidfreak. Rolento is the ONLY character that can be CC throwed like that...so characters like E.Honda, Raiden, Dhalsim and Zangief can additionally grab him during the end of the A-groove combo. That's why Rolento is the target of the asswhippings...because he's the only one that can be additionally hit like that.
