Wow.. I've been listening to this performance, repeating it from 5pm all the way to 12 midnight without noticing the time.(excluding my dinner time). O_o There's something special in these sounds.. I hate to say it but this performance lacks some energy, and the orchestra isn't too good either. If only the London Philharmonic would make a recording of this like they made recordings of most of the Dragon Quest music. I'll probably get a thumbs down for this but I've heard too many orchestras to call this one good. AND WTF??? At 3:47 you can NOT have females singing that part. Amazingly, the part at 3:47 actually sounds best in the original FF7 version.

it seemed to blend fine and the accomp. played loudly when she had to, they're playing different parts its going to sound different maybe u just dont like these type of music but it sounds beautiful to me. The violist and pianist were absolutely amazing it was nice altogether. it seems listen to all those korean songs made your ears dislike classical songs i dont know, i have the score here and they missed 0 notes a little sharp and flat notes from wrong tuning but it was fine it gave it an umph

I was there too - it was amazing. At the time it was billed as their "Farewell Tour." Obviously, it wasn't. Pete Townshend says they kept coming back because Roger begged him to go on tour whenever he was out of money. Daltrey had a great voice but actually can't play the guitar at all, something Townshend also revealed on national radio during one of their many tiffs that year. Daltrey held the guitar when Townshend sang because he felt stupid banging a tamborine or being shuffled aside.

this song and performance was recorded in toronto Dec16/17 in Toronto... I was there it was fucking awesome!!!!!! Im 47 and had this concert taped at one time on simulcast from Chum Radio intoronto...this song was i believe the second song from that concert and was nothing but spectacular...sometimes it pays to be older lol. Saw the Clash as well in Sept of 82...incredible!

Yes, on a re-issue from the 1990's , I believe. The title track was also included from this show, as well as maybe 1 other track, maybe "Cry If You Want", but I'm not certain of that. I'm sure you can find out from Amazon or your local used record shop. You can also find it on the Live In Toronto CD, which is this entire show minus 3 songs and some between song noodling.

Totally frikkin' awesome song! This video is good and clear, but, I really like the one they show on VH1 too, no offense. It's fun watching them do it in different venues. They were lookin' good too! 'Specially Daltry! Adam Sandler is right, he is bult like a truck!

what can i say? eminence front was one of my favs since i dicovered the who as a teenager living in the 80's. too bad they never got to mexico as they cancelled their 2007 show. pete and daltrey missed the opportunity to play in front of the best rock audience in the world (Just ask mccartney, gilmour or clapton who almost even stopped playing his final song and smiled to the crowd and the standing ovation he received)
