I watched this film toady, and was really good. I even took my Thai girlfriend along and she also loved it! Even though there was subtitles in the movie, she translated some of the Thai for me! lol! Go and watch this movie, you will enjoy it.

What kills me is that we know there are deleted scenes and some behind-the-scenes material, yet whenever they release it on DVD, it is always barebones with no features. (From what I recall, there are two DVD editions, the standard edition and the trilogy pack, both of which I own.) Damn it, the fans want the extra stuff! Give us the deleted scenes that Bruce Campbell talks about in his book, and some of these interviews, and possibly even the TV pilot! Maybe in a 20th anniversary set...

It's not the best movie ever but it is the best superhero movie ever and it looks great in imax the sequences shot with the camera's it makes you feel like you're watching your HD T.V. at home(if you have one) except 100 times bigger(no exageration). And the sound quality to it is perfect.

Okay, I'm gonna go see this on wednesday... All I need to do is know is this the full movie or not? I already saw it at my local regular theater and I saw the WHOLE movie. But when I heard him say certain sections and see in the description for the film that it's shot in 6-4 sequences... I wanna see the FULL movie in IMAX. it's amazing, you wouldn't have expected that this film had so much CGI in it. yet it really makes for an authentic 70's look. the shot at 1:12 is the only one that looked a bit unreal when i watched the movie.

i thought fight club and panic room kind of abused CGI... but zodiac? i think finch is getting more subtle! but he uses these "wicked shots" here and there to give the movie it's visual impact. (e.g. the guy's head exploding, the time lapse building sequence) for me zodiac is one of fincher's best.

I've become a fan of Fincher over the past couple of days when I discovered that he directed both Se7en and Fight Club. In fact, that's what led me to Zodiac and made me watch it after stumbling upon this fact, and who this guy is. I can't wait to see his next movie. (Inserts Fitcher into his favorite Directors book, which includes names like Spielberg and Zemeckis)

David Fincher is notorious for being one of the most meticulous and hard working directors in the industry. Are you seriously comparing him to an amateur golfer? haha. I think the visual in this film were not that good, it felt low budget. Some of the landscape scenes looked pretty cg like. And shots have cg in it that should be done for real. The filter used on the film is also very poor looking to my eye. The dvd i watched showed a very very dark film as well. And well the movie is too long did this guy work with peter jackson or what? Films are like golfers they want to run around in a cart instead of walking the course like the pros.
