This is great! It inspired Star Trek but don't let that put you off! It's very intelligent for a 50s sci-fi film, in fact it's one of the cleverest sci-fi films I've seen (and I've seen lots). I rank this along Blade Runner, and 2001 as one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made.

YOu could listen to his songs such as brilliant trees and Red Guitar and "Ghost" of Japan where Silvian once belonged to. It's hard to imagine any other music score than that of Louis and Bebe Barron (note how it functions not only as "music" but as sound effects as well), but David Rose was originally meant to score the film. He wrote some very effective music for "Bonanza" and other series but...I can't imagine ANY conventional music score fitting this film!

LOL ok, well....this might drift off from the purpose of this video but I started it so.......IMO the reason Synyster Gates has been particularly underperforming these years is because it seems as if he just doesn't have his heart in the songs anymore. In many songs of Waking the Fallen like...And all things will end, Second Heartbeat, I won't see you tonight - WOW he just put his best, the solos were amazing, composition was outstanding...but now....it just isn't like that.

My opinion on Synyster Gates - how about this....he has the potential but he so underperforms. His greatest years were during Waking the Fallen, in City of Evil and Avenged Sevenfold his tone was just terrible and honestly no awesome composition like before. In fact that was the reason that led me to JRock. Thank god for JRock lol.

This song is honestly a perfect example of how great guitarists can be great composers. Everyone thinks trash like Herman Li and Synyster Gates are gods of modern rock and wow they're "SO GREAT" for doing nothing but sweeping and playing the most random fucking notes ever.
