At 7:04 she says some words in japanese AND she says the word DOWN and the word COUNT (which is english) then she stars counting in english 1 to 6. In Japan it is common to use some english words and most people understand it clearly. Just like in most countries.

If that's the case, then they're either holding back on the fifth Dragon until a third season (since this'll probably be the opening for the remaining 24~ episodes of this season), or they're going to squish it in somewhere. Besides that, the Buster Mode cards have yet to appear, so there's a lot they haven't gotten to, yet.

Not true. He created the 5D's characters. There's a whole section in the YGODM manga re-releases about 5D's including his sketches and commentary. Whether if he wrote the plot or not, I have no idea.
