You are a moron, let me help. Duran WAS a natural welter when they fought, he barely made 147. Leonard wasn't at his peak in Montreal. He didn't box Leonard's ears off, he fouled and brawled him very well, though. Duran at 70 fights was better at it than Leonard with 27. Leonard boxed Duran's ears off in the 2nd and 3rd fights, making Duran quit in the 2nd. The comment about Hearns doesn't deserve correcting.

Like this song and love the album it's on, but one that has always bugged me is that I wish it could have been recorded in another decade than the 80s. It has a little too much "early snyth" in it and the girls-only bridge is just distracting to the overall tone of the tune. Love Leonard Cohen though.

Well, to his modest credit, Leonard always said that he only had one guitar trick, and he demonstrated it by playing "Avalanche", (which you can also find on here). Same repetetive-triplets "trick" he's using here. It's wonderful, as his guitar playing always is.

In my opinion this demonstrates why people can never manage good Cohen covers: It's in the man's voice. If you look objectively at this song the melody is incredibly simple and repetitive. The lyrics are interesting, as always, but I'm not sure they could put the song over on their own. It's the way he SAYS them.
