i'm not gonna sit here and shit on electric wizard, but there is NO WAY they're heavier than neurosis, man. you throw on a neurosis record and it's not just a heaviness of sound, but this heaviness of emotion. to me, it's like this perfect weight that is oppressive and uplifting. and ultimately the thing that really sets them apart is that they really are painting with more colors than a band like electric wizard.

STFU!!! Get on with the music. Hate to be country-ist, but this is a US thing that we keep getting over here in the UK now, & it's shit!!! Nobody's interested. If I wanna know any of that stuff, I'll Google it etc, or buy "Special Edition" stuff. Used to love Neurosis, but now, well really guys, your self-promotion actually works against you. What next? Adverts for Microsoft every 30 seconds during the next album?
