"smokers outside the hospital doors" depicts those with loved ones inside suffering whilst the person in question is outside as they can't handle the situation in hand, and "say goodbye to everyone you've ever known" is something you would say to someone in the process of dying so that they have no regrets and can redeem what they had with those they love. all in all, this is a pretty powerfull song with a great video, long live the editors.

I work with youth in an after school program and found that some of the obvious basics like a camel and a kangaroo couldn't be identified by intelligent inner city youth that were supposedly "on the honor roll". It is a problem and we as adults need to remember that knowlege is not inherited but passed on. Don't wait on T.V., the internet or teachers to do our job.

Its not just "animals". Its animals around their environment. Like a specific birds, or a specific plant. Birdy is one thing. Swallow, sparrow, cardinal, and Blue Jay are another. Show me your two year old can differentiate an Oak Tree from a Birch, or a Maple from an Ash. Thats the real knowledge that is important. I agree about kids being TV Zombies, it is a growing problem. Who can not luv this song!!!!! The message is soooo true and Jordan is pretty with God's given talent. I felt like this in Grade 6 because i felt like my BFF had abandoned me. Then in grade 7, I made new BFF's since I've moved. One of them is my neighbor and the other goes on the bus with me. and the other one just somehow became BFF with me. The Killers aren't too bad, but pale in comparison to the greats. Green Day and Oasis are still around to show the newbies the way. Incubus, Audioslave, and Rage against the Machine are also kickass bands. New music is definitely different, and less pure as the older rock; check out The Vines, Sick Puppies (both Aussies), MSI, and Serj Tankian. They are the future of rock. No where near as good as grunge and 90s punk, but easily can hang with 70s and 80s music. The 60s were the best, no doubt!

Just as it has been since the late 80s/early 90s, one has to search the alternative waves for decent music. If almost 100% of men and women were born equal and got the same kind of muscles tones & body features and men didn't know women to look like anything else. Then wouldn't we find them attractive? It'd be normal to see women with big muscles and all that. Thousands of years would made it expected and accepted, that that's how women look. There wouldn't be anything gross or abnormal about it. I couldn't help but agree that women are indeed as strong as men when it comes most things in general 90% of the time parenting, working, brains and etc. What I couldn't agree on was that you thought in a world where women are equal 100% with men, that they wouldn't be viewed as attractive as women are in this day and age. When you think about us humans, we have always been able to find someone attractive no matter what the situation.(go with me if you will for this example)

I understand what you mean, but this is not a bad thing for woman, where men USUALLY are stronger and more hardy, woman are quite often alot softer and more fluid with their movement...kind of making parkour equal to both genders.

very good video, i cant really come to terms with what it must be like training parkour as a woman...mainly because im a man lol =P...but woman do move very differently to men, wich i like to think is a very good thing, giving you an oppertunity to really stick out among the crowds of other practitioners. You say women aren't as strong as men. What if women where to get as strong as men? They'd have muscle definition, bigger arms, they wouldn't be as soft as the ideal women in todays world is. They'd be called gross because they have muscles and strength. So in the end women experience sexism when their bodies are weak and when their bodies are strong. That makes me sick.

I saw this on TV several years ago; it was the first time I'd heard the tune. Now I've heard lots of versions. Ray Charles and Betty Carter. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan. THE BEST version IMO is by Hot Lips Page and Pearl Bailey. Their duets are hilarious!!! Especially there version of this tune.
