I dont get so many not liking this movie, esp ppl who are DeNiro/Pacino fans & go for them. I saw it yesterday & cant quit thinking about it & almost want to go back again to see it Look, if you want to be critical about the story not being totally original or about holes in the plot,you wont enjoy the movie. Im not saying its oscar worthy, but I think the acting elevates it to 4 of 5 stars. Leguizamo&Gugino as well Pacinos best work since Donnie Brasco& DeNiros since Ronin or Jackie Brown

This scene basically tells you everything you need to know about the film. Al Pacino's beautiful and mesmerizing performance, the truly excellent screen writing and of course the main taboo subject: Aides and homosexuality. Lots of people don't go to see movies like these because of this subject (the same thing with Brokeback Mountain) but they're missing some good stuff here.
