I think it's baritone guitar with a bit different tuning - he has probably lowered some strings by a 5th so that the four highest strings are quite close to each other, and lowered the bass strings. I could be wrong of course.

Many hundreds of students have had a greater educational experience performing Pat's music. FACT. And their audiences have been exposed to it and also therefore enriched. FACT.
