yeah there are different oppions, but i love doing interesting trips and research assignments. but then again i like doing things to do with technology. because i know my future job will surely have something to do with technology. my geography teacher uses not just technology as a teaching method but also does outdoor trips. and beacuse of that geography is my favourite subject, it makes everything so much better and interesting when the teacher uses good teaching methods.

There are other ways teachers could hold students interest in class. Options could be outdoor trips or assignments which allows students to do research. Though we appreciate technology, we can also appreciate nature. An opposing argument could be that computers make people lazy. It does all our work for us while we sit and watch. Children already spend countless hours using technology, we shouldn't add to this immobile activity.

I'm a Music Teacher and my students love the fact that I do not use any technology other than musical instruments and twelve-stave paper. The kids aren't as impressed with all of the technology nearly as much as the adults are. I believe that not immersing them in lap tops and cell phones,makes for an agreeable break from their high tech,humanly disconnected worlds.

his is dowing a great tribute to his music, and one of his singers, Pete Seeger. If you like bruce for his music fine, but if you like the lyrics you should hear closer this ones, they're pretty easy, but the message is really great. They were protest songs for a lot time not so far ago. And as already said, this stuff isnot in his albums, only in this tribute.

Some people have more of an open mind to different kinds of music, and besides if we didn't have folk music, we would never have had 'Born to Run' in the first place. Music has evolved from beating on a rock to the hundreds of styles we have today. Like the old saying "You can't please all of the people all of the time"

yeah, you're pretty much alone...this is the history of american music (and i am not american)...it has influenced Dylan, Springsteen, etc...you have to understand that rock and roll is very young...Bruce's generation grew up listening to the guys who pretty much invented it, so that makes him 2nd generation...he is visiting music roots...it is surprising how much better this stuff is than some of today's stuff like Nickelback, nu metal and crappy emo and mall punk

No, it started with prop 22. Prop 22 was originally introduced as an answer to this lawsuit that forced the church to either marry gay couples or, loose tax exempt status. Gay marriage will be fought over for quite some time, as it does not fall into the same bracket as racism. Prop 8 does not discriminate. It does not say that only GAY people cannot marry the same sex, it states at all people, gay or straight cannot marry same sex. It applys equally. Now weather a straight person would want to?

Interesting point, considering this all started because of a lawsuit against a church for not marrying a gay couple. The church lost its tax-exempt status and boom, along came prop 22. If they had left well enough alone, and not tried to push their lifestyle onto these religious zealots, this wouldh ave gone alot smoother than it has. California is a prodominatly Christian state. This is the sad truth (not limited to out of wedlock births). According to my parents' divorce decree, my father had to pay about $300 in the 70's for 3 children. He refused to pay a dime or be active in our lives.
