You cant compare classic painting with the modern and or contemporary movements. You have all the right not to agree with this idea of art but You have to see the context in which each painting is made and the motifs. You say there is no composition or idea in cubism but actually there is a lot more study in it then in an impressionist's landscape.

people often use the argument that because Picasso could really paint well but then decided to take his art in a different direction with cubism that his later works are great works of art. this is rather like saying that a great athlete who decides to sit around on his arse, smoking cigarettes and eating pork pies is still a great athlete. The only problem I may see, is that he copied himself over all the years, but still I think he is of the greatest. Watching this show has always been one of my fondest memories. I remember curling up in bed with my Grandma and watching it with her. We'd eat popcorn and she'd laugh and I'd laugh just because she was. I was too young then to really understand the show, but I always knew I loved Sophia. Now that my Grandma's gone I still watch the show and I still love Sophia. I wish her family the best and may she rest in peace.

Y el bombardeo de Guernica les fastidia bastante porque refleja muy claramente la verdadera naturaleza del fascismo, el desprecio a la vida. Simplemente pq Guernica la bombardearon por puro placer y por hacer experimentos, como Menguele, ya que no tenía la más mínima importancia estratégica.

Bueno, no puedo negar que hay en el cuadro de Picasso una alusión acerca de lo ocurrido en Guernica, pero ya el escritor Pio Moa, en su libro "Los mitos de la guerra civil" menciona ciertos asapectos sobre el bombardeo que han sido falseados por los historiadores Además, el cuadro al parecer fue planeado por Picasso meses antes del bombardeo y luego, especulo, sufrio la transformacion que conocemos, debido, eso si, al encargo y al dinero que se le pago al pintor.

Bueno, quizá lo dijiste antes de forma que no parecía la real o yo lo malinterpreté un poco...es que es además por lo que decía antes, fue la primera vez en la Hª en la que se bombardea una población de civiles a conciencia y eso ya aporta más peso. A parte la tragedia fue poco después de que a Picasso el gobierno de la República Española le pidiera pa la exposición universal de París algo representativo de España y claro, eligió plasmar esta masacre. Mi profesor de Arte nos contó hace unos meses que los universitarios a favor de la democracia llevaban una pegatina escondida en las carpetas con este cuadro impreso, en una época en la que en la univerdad y demás instituciones de enseñanza pasaban las hojas de los libros en las que se estudiaban a artistas como Picasso o Lorca por ser demócratas. although the animation sequences and music are sort of cool, it doesn't really grasp the mood behind the actual painting. i'm not sure if that's what you intended, but just saying, this movie does not match Guernica. i thought it was a joke when the guitar strings hit really hard, likE DIIIING when the details form the painting were popping, up. Technically it's there, but the mood is waaaay off.

hur kommer det sig att vinnarlåten ALLTID passar bara 1 av finalisterna bättre än den andra? kan dom inte skriva en låt som är lite mer 'all around' med tanke på vilka som är med och har chans att gå till final??? har inte sett idol alls någon gång men brukar alltid lyssna på vinnarlåten efteråt och Marie gjorde den ju 1000 gånger bättre än Amanda men så är det en 'Marie låt' också.
