As a huge pikmin fan, I love this to death, and found myself playing HL1 as olimar! They are well designed, and just fun to command an army around with realitive ease. I got to offer one suggestion though, you should try to make the pikmin effected by kill_triggers or trigger_hurts if possible. That way if they fall off, they get killed. Still I digress, I love this mod to death. :D

To kill the bird snake, get a decent number of red/blue piks (40 is ok) and get them very close to olimar, using the yellow directional. When the head of the bird appears, use the directional to perform a quick and lethal attack before its neck appears. The bird will struggle and hide, all u have to do is repeat the process until it is dead. However, to kill Bulblax there´s no option but to sacrifice some yellow piks. My record is losing only 9 piks in one game.

It is possible to kill the mushroom and the "snake bird" without losing a single pikmin. To kill the mushroom, take 80-90 red piks and to a quick and massive attack, the mushroom will get down and then throw the red piks against him, he´ll be dead in no time.
