Plane crazy was the first: May 1928. You can even see it in the way mickey looks. Steamboat willie was the first to have synchronized sound (Nov 18, 1928) but it was the third Mickey cartoon. The sound for plane crazy & gallopin' gaucho was added later in Dec. 1928 to these cartoons but they were not released this way.

In the '20s and '30s Walt was making around $65 a week, while all his animators were making over $150 a week. The animators did in fact get screen credit. While Ub Iwerk was working and drawing for Disney, his name was on the beginning credits. As was Carl Stalling's name, who did the music. Both eventually went behind Disney's back and tried to put him out of business.

It is real. In case you didn't notice it was an RC plane and with the power to weight ratio some of those things have it's very possible to make this landing with one wing gone. Look up red bull race pilot loses wing if you want to see an obvious fake.
