Shots should have been fired back at those idiots at the very first opportunity, which they were not. In an urban enviroment you will almost always have a background behind your target that is "friendly". This video doesn't show it, but there comes a time where the bad guys car stops and they continue to shoot countless rounds at officers and everything behind the officers. If you aren't going to fire back at that point then I don't know what else to say.

I have to speak up and strongly disagree with those particular police chiefs and other officers who praise the officers in this incident of "showing great restraint" in not firing their weapons out of concern for the safety of innocent bystanders. As a cop, I must say that not only should we be held accountable for every round we fire, but we are ALSO responsible for protecting the public from all rounds fired from dirtbags, especially from assault rifles.

Nice second guessing. The other units who were right behind him were obviously aware of the shots fired, as evidenced by the plain unit who stopped momentarily to ask if he was ok. The video lasts only a few seconds after the shots. I'm sure the comm center was advised soon thereafter. I was impressed he wasn't screaming on the radio and covering up the other traffic.

well i think that they were using AK47 that is a 7.62 round and it can easily penetrate the engine block also some other calibers with the right configuration can do the job is not like in the moveas also that you shoot a 9mm to the engine block and the engine will blow up but well maybe the cop was hurt or something like that i dont think that he got hit because looks like they shoot just the right side of the windshield :P

Vaitrani, al parecer has escuchado campanas pero no sabes de donde; esa teoría, para empezar, no dice que se puede viajar en el tiempo (que involucraría hacia adelante o hacia atrás) sino que se puede viajar en el tiempo hacia adelante. Y tampoco implica la velocidad de la luz (inalcanzable) sino velocidades próximas. Esto, súper interesante (aunque a mi parecer un poquito avanzado para empezar a estudiar física por ahí), se llama 'dilatación del tiempo' de la relatividad de Einstein. ;)

Me gustaría aclarar, reddracko, la broma sobre el 'suicidio' que hice hace dos semanas: simplemente era una broma :P Yo creo en la física, y el haber visto este pequeño documental me ha abierto nuevas puertas del pensamiento, ya que normalmente, en física teórica no me había planteado esto nunca, 'solamente' la gravedad de Einstein, la relatividad, la dilatación del tiempo, el espacio curvo, la velocidad... Pero este documental me encantó, por supuesto. Y los otros sobre cuántica tambien. =D

Man, that game hurt a lot. I graduated from PSHS in 06' and we lost to SL Carrol in the fourth quarter, after leading for the majority of the game. Because I go to school at North Carolina, that was the last game I saw before coming home for Christmas and going to this game. Back to back heartbreak is pretty rough. 08' is looking up though!
