My friend you must take into account the time they put into that machine. My father is 51 years old and he would appreciate this, age has nothing to do with it.

>"You are lame cause you fail to see how this is showing the diference of CPU and GPU." My supposed failure is yet to be evident. The reason why this demonstration is lame, is because it demonstrates this difference briefly in absolutely no depth. So the difference is series VS. parallel? holy crap, what a revelation! LAME
By: luzian. on 11 Nov 08, 06:17:25
>"Cause your acting like a dumb ass nerd." Basically, all you've done was replace one unsupported claim with another, assuring me that it's an explanation. Not to mention how oxymoronic your claim actually is. >"You dont see how lame you are?" Apparently you're not making this apparent through reason. >"This was one of the coolist things i have ever seen and your saying it is lame?" When you grow up intellectually, you'll find it lame one day too.

Cause your acting like a dumb ass nerd. "I thought they were actually going to get into parallel processing. LAME and unintelligent." You dont see how lame you are? This was one of the coolist things i have ever seen and your saying it is lame? You are lame cause you fail to see how this is showing the diference of CPU and GPU.
By: luzian. on 11 Nov 08, 02:23:04
Explain why, then maybe people will take your comment seriously.

you are a stupid nerd ass Rtard...
By: dragzeela. on 10 Nov 08, 04:40:57
this is why 3D renders take so long, sadly. Nvidia came out with Some software that allows the GPU to do the actual rendering now in conjunction with AutoDesk's 3D studio
By: TechnologicMe. on 09 Nov 08, 18:10:41
.. cool huh?
By: luzian. on 09 Nov 08, 17:18:13
What does NVIDIA's reputation have to do with the lameness of this presentation? I thought they were actually going to get into parallel processing. LAME and unintelligent.

You 2 motherfucker Luzian NVIDIA FOR LIFE
By: somedumbdesertguy. on 29 Oct 08, 04:10:13
No. It shoots LOTS of paintballs all at once. The CPU does one at a time. The GPU shoots all the pixels at once...BLAM!
By: MMMAAATTTLLL. on 28 Oct 08, 21:39:43
Adam and Jamie are awesome.
By: ncrkel. on 22 Oct 08, 19:14:18
Actually, a GPU just do alot of pixels in only one clockcykle where a CPU just do one per clock or take´s multiple clock´s to do 1 or two pixels.
By: luzian. on 19 Oct 08, 09:57:39
this was effing stupid.

ahh so a gpu shoots paintballs fast
By: phuKKah. on 07 Oct 08, 14:18:50
cpu does single processes (yeah yeah, hyper threading dual core, blah blah) but the gpu does tons and TONS of processes at the same time. that's what their demonstrating. how much faster and better a gpu can render an image.
By: keybladerookie. on 06 Oct 08, 23:10:40
cool :] i like the mythbuster's show even though i still dont understand what a GPU is
