actually in the US as of 2008 it was passed that officers could enter homes without permission, they still need warrants to search the home but to enter they no longer need permission. I wouldnt have known if I hadn't been assigned a article in government class my senior year. Huh! The scene with the cops was actually pretty well done. Although, perhaps most folks don't realize this, but unless the officers heard someone calling for help, they aren't allowed to enter someone's home without their permission. So, the police kicking the door in once the tenant denied permission was actually illegal. Still, interesting concept overall, and a nice change of pace for Amanda Tapping. It looks like a lot of Stargate alumni will be appearing, too. Good deal.

Just checked and it wasn't Heroes and I'm even thinking it wasn't the STranglers now. This is frustrating, I just can't think who it was! It was a great performance though. I'm sure it was one of Britains late 70's Punk bands or at least bandwagon jumpers. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please remind me. I may be completely off with the genre or even origin of band. The drummer starts obviously missing his skins, the guitarist goes on a mad one, only the keyboard player is serious.

To be fair, maybe so in the USA but in throughout most of the 80's in the UK, there was plenty of lip syncing going on. Even on Top of the pops. Although TOTP most often had the singer live and the band recorded (See Nirvana and Kurts "Morrissey" impression on TOTP early 90's). Some bands refused to mime though and you are right that The Cult are definitely playing live here.
