yoyos are not weapons!!!! thats a stupid rumor people with no brains started! you cant get any damage with a yoyo for an example, the spin would make the yoyo just glance off of someone also.. even if it could do damage... when the yoyo hits some1, it would go out of control and wouldnt wind up... im tired of people in their mind cutting and pasting a guy infront of the yoyos... it wont work!!!!!!

Even still, yes, Shinji was in that mindset when he met Kaworu, NO ONE is denying that, but he was so desperate that he wanted to invest himself in Kaworu entirely and vice versa. Hi Shinji, My average stroke count for 25m is now 17 (I fall just short on my 16th stroke). I have come to love my Finis Tempo timer, at first I found it annoying because after my turns my first stroke was always out of synch. At a rate of 1.25 I swim 50M in 48 secs. I notice you enter your hand in front of your head. I tried this rather then around my goggle line and I seem to get more distance per stroke by entering that little bit later.

Thanks. It is common to teach straight arm recovery (with catch-up timing) to beginners. But TI teaches high elbow recovery because; 1) straight arm recovery makes you sink more, 2) high elbow recovery is easier for your shoulder, 3)the entry point can be closer to you with high elbow recovery.

You swim very effortlessly and graceful as well. Shinji, I am a beginner and my coach is now teaching me the arm movement. Is it normal for a beginner to rotate the arm full circle hands raised higher than my elbow without bending it? That is what my coach taught me. I was thinking that maybe I'm just a beginner and will soon be taught the proper way? Am I right?

It sure looks like Shinji is not breathing! I am fairly certain he may even do the "popeye" breathe. It's called the popeye breathe after the cartoon character who spoke out of the corner of his mouth. You roll so say only half your face is out of the water and take a breathe using a corner of your mouth. if you google Popeye breathing I am sure you will find info on it

One reason for the problem is cross-over entry. Imagine parallel tracks with your long axis and keep your hand movement along them. I think your spread legs happen as a result of counter balance.

Hi Shinji, Just finished a hard swim session absolutely stuffed & disappointed my swim time over 1 sec per 25m lap slower then usual. I was about to jump out of the pool disgusted but decided to swim some slow cool down laps and pictured your video. Out of curiosity I timed them, I set a personal best time, took an avg of 2 secs per 25m off my previous best time nearly had a heart attack LOL it was so easy. still shaking my head, my cool down time is a PB. Swimming = Aquatic Tai Chi
