You did not seem to preface some of your comments with disclaimers, so I was not sure if you were just acting on some residual paranoia, or, if you were acting out what actually transpires during an OT7 session(the correct terminology?). Like any subjective authority, whether it be an emotionally weak parent or an extremely controlling religion, vulnerable people would rather suspend their own consciousness and judgment, than believe the people they've put their trust in, are unworthy. Children of course are trapped. It's funny to hear supporters citing similarities to other religions while neatly omitting the differences. I've just finished watching both parts to this, and you never really understand what scientology has done till you see someone involved come and speak about it on an emotional level.
