okay i disagree with this completely. darius rucker has an awesome hit on his hands. jessica simpsons song is good too despite everyone not liking her. their music still has the country vibe to it. why dont you actually bring up a group that doesnt belong in country...doesnt sound like country music....rascal flatts. i know there are some that will agree with me...some what wont...but tell me this...i didnt say anything about their music..they have great music...its so poppish its ridiculous.

After all, they gave Buck no respect either because he made it without going through Nashville and he made more of an impact on country music in the last 50 years than anyone. Oh and Merle doesn't get any respect either and look and his life's work! The Opry has a problem with artists that make it on the West Coast without going through Nashville. They really shouldn't be that way. Look at the mess that country music is in today. Its 1970s rock!

what a mess, the weird thing is she can actually sing but she kept hitting the same note again and again, not to mention she shouted the lyrics for a lot of the song. Perhaps unfair to sing a song performed by the incredible George Michael, but it did her no favors. She can be better than this, I'm sure she regrets agreeing to do it, the first half of the song is nothing short of terrible, she did regain some footing towards the end thank goodness

I think this version is a nice attempt. But the emotion of George Michael's voice, the message of this song that HE wrote, just doesn't come out in Carry's version. And if you don't know who George Micheal is... Listen to his unplugged version before you judge. Don't say Carry's version is better just because you're a fan. Without the wonderful original, Carry would never been able to sing this song. Respect and open your mind!
