I was a pure scientist once...I had an atheist belief system - and then I opened my eyes to all that was around me - I let light flood across all my landscapes. AMEN And missedavies i'm very reserved normally but surely knowing what Jesus did for you must bring some emotion to the surface even if it's only in the priviate of the bedroom. But the chains of restriction from truely prasing God in the Undignified way like David (i believe) said he would can be broken by just pressing into the presence of God and having a deeper relationship with God. heyy guys don't thumbs down the comment! in our world our suffering and injustice, it can often be difficult to see god, by bad things which happen, or just the drudge of everyday life. perhaps you could try speaking to someone you know who is a christian or making a connection with god through prayer. try to forget the other people you mentioned, and concentrate on you and god - because god wants nothing more than being able to welcome you into his arms and call you his own. god bless (:

Ohh if all churches would allow the congragation to come to the alter and fall face down. We need to stop keeping God in a box.We need to be sensative to the Holy spirit and let Him control the service. There is nothing like feeling the weight of the Holy spirit during the service. There are so few songs that speak about our relationship with God in the middle of the struggle. In the times when he seems far away and everything is difficult. This is one of those songs and just like the Psalms it starts with the truth of where we are in the pain and ends up Praising God. The fact that you are searching shows there is a yearning inside you to enter into relationship with God. This is not a relationship that starts with feeling it is faith. It's the faith to believe that God is and not only that He is but that He loves you. In Bible (Hebrews 11:6) it says he who comes to God must believe that He is..once you set your heart on believing...you open yourself to allow Jesus Christ to come and live on the inside of you. Don't rely on feelings, seek faith to believe.

I assumed he would say that nothing existed beyond this life, but his answer surprised me. He said that "You would get what you deserved."
