" I hate myself and I want to die" That was Kurt's attempt at sarcasm, and ofcourse he knew nobody would see it that way, if you watch the "About A Son" movie (which is his entire life in his own words) You will realize that the media portrayal of him was extremely innacurate and overblown, I'm not disagreeing that he killed himself, but his image was falsy portrayed.

I dont think Cobain was as depress as the media and MTV portrayed him to be. Based on his friends and family members, the man was funny and a bit of a smartass. I think if Cobain could do it all over again, he woulda just gone Indie and lived a comfortable life near the beach somewhere.
