Fantastic speech. There's one clear difference between the Democrats and the Republicans in this election. Obama and Biden stand at the lectern and speak directly and frankly to the people. McCain and Palin are doing nothing but sugar-coating issues and making cheap shots. Promising a better future is meaningless if you're not willing to recognize the present. I live in Sweden so I cant vote but I have been following both sides for a long time now and I really want Obama to win! It would help the USA to get theirs reputation back and make USA the country that it were before. I'm only 17 but I can remeber for about 6 - 8 years ago we talked about how the USA really were the land of opportunity but now, we see it like a country that slowly startes to go under more and more. It's not fair to everyone else. Is that really a good plan? Also, he is not a good speaker in front of people. Yes, he is good at reading off a teleprompter and McCain is not, but when he is asked questions he sits there and goes.. "uhhh uhhh" before he speaks. McCain is amazing at answering questions freely like that. Plus, wind and solar power are not just going to do it. We NEED to drill for oil AND keep up the other resource research. I don't know that much about Bill Clinton so I can't say much about him. But can you honestly sit there and think Obama will make a good president? First of all he wants to raise taxes to make a National Health Care thing or another.. This plan is ridiculous. All it is, is giving the "lower" class or "less fortunate" even more of a reason to not work. They are going to get the same benefits that everyone else is getting for working their asses off to support themselves and their families.

I think they know that Republicans would not make up the majority of Americans if everyone who could legally vote did in fact vote - minorities and young people mostly vote Democratic, and therefore the more of them that are registered and actually vote, the more of a chance that the Democratic candidate will win - it's simple numbers - as a comment noted above, they want to stop certain groups from voting so that they can reverse the numbers.
