Mental disability is caused by having too much of one chromosome, i.e. Down Syndrome which is caused by a partial or complete extra 21st chromosome. The addition of a new set of chromosomes, however, would genetically alter humans, either in a good or bad way. Melchizadek theorized that the addition of the 23rd (excluding sex chromosomes here) set would create a greater understanding among humans of our place and increase our abilities of insight and ingenuity.

i love how it is educational between the lyrics..this is a really good practice video to sing and play along with,i just ironed out all the bugs i had with performing this song within one viewing..good job on the synching of all of the different media,makes for quite an enjoyable viewing experience!please,everyone stop arguing over bullshit,life's too short for all that animosity!as Tool fans,you should be enlightened enough to be above such insecure transgressions!we are all one mind,spiral out

Yes, the song Judith is about his mother in part-her name is Judith, however it is not about her having cancer, she did not have cancer, she had a stroke and was bedridden and paralyzed for a aproximate period of 10,000 days.

Actually the song that refers to his mothers stroke, is the title track of the 10,000 days album-his mother was bedridden from a stroke for approximately that duration of time.

The title references an idea first conceived by Drunvalo Melchizedek concerning the possibility of reaching a state of evolution at which the body would have two more than the normal 46 total chromosomes and leave a currently disharmonious state.[2][3] The premise is that humans would deviate from the current state of human DNA which contains 44 chromosomes and 2 sex autosomes.
