he's still consider the best* Bruce Lee is first,then Jet Li,then Jackie Chan reason is because Bruce is fast and proof is Jackie Chan fought him once a long time ago Jet Li is 2nd is because he's more of a serious type & hardcore type of martial artist Jackie is 3rd because too much comedy, i like his fighting scenes though especially the drunking boxing scenes Bruce Lee is the best* however if talking about just Jackie Chan and Jet Li Jetli is better

and another thing,why do they put an unnone white guy that suck in martial arts in the leading part???It shoud be jackie or jet.anyway in my oppinion this movie shoud been done in hong kong like a real hong kong action movie but insted they do an american version.But its a good movie and yuen woo ping stands for the fightscenes and that isent bad!!!i ges they did the best they coud.

yea i heard something like that. i was told that the style itself was made so you don't have to be drunk, just imitate the drunkard, but having a small drink improves the body's flexibility since that's what alcohol does to your body. it's just not recommended cuz some people just keep drinking or just drink too much to begin with hahaaha. =)

That was the best fight moment ! It started up the whole movie. Here you don't get the full impact, you have to see it in a theater. The calmer action before this scene and the whole movie atmosphere enhances this scene a lot !

Before all I knew about this movie was that it was a collaboration between Jet Li and Jackie Chan. Continue... Fighting scene is too much, almost every scene has to fight even the time span much longer than just conversation scene. I know the movie was an adventure but adventure needs storyline to backup. At the end of the film, the old man was delivered to the hospital, the people surrounding them have no facial expression of surprises. Even the china town was made so fake. I wish they can focus more on storyline than fighting in the future movies.

In my opinion, this movie isn't good as expected. Yes, it has alot of fighting scene but it's overly used. The storyline is too simple, basically kill the emperor and save the monkey king. The monkey king costume doesn't look like a monkey to me. It's like a guy with gold hairs and that is it. I don't mind to have the western boy there, but the storyline need to be well written.

yeai didnt like it because the main character was a horrible actor(to be honest..i would have preferred Shia Labeouf) and Jet Li as the monkey king was ridiculous, I loved him as the Monk..he was bad ass...Jackie...no complaints...he reminded me of an Asian Jack Sparrow always getting drunk. and the main character was just annoying...next time the do a Jet Li and Jackie chan movie...make them the main characters..thats what everyone payed 4
