some stupid people think that the mediterranean sea is like a lake....the crossed swell and strong winds we have there can disable the largest ships, as you can see on this amazing video. I don't know what happened to the passenger on board but as there is mainly elder people on cruise ship should have been terrible for them.

I know how waves behave its like they get more fierce when they are surrounding an object. I watched a wave grow to HORRIFIC proportions when this surfer was riding it! It was like a while horse. It was really determined to throw the surfer, but could never catch that guy! Now I'm looking at the Oceanliner get the heeve-ho from the way while the rest of the ocean seems a bit calm. Is this some physics law that makes this possible???
